Hi Mega

A couple questions:

Can you please describe your setup (what UVB lights and what are the temps in terrarium)?
How old is the dragon?
How long have you had him?
What are you feeding him?

He is also in the middle of shedding... this just doesn't seem normal that he can go for so long without moving or eating.....

He usually eats super worms and dragon pellets... and he usually eats everyday... he is about.. 4 years old.. he has the exo terra daylight 60w light and also one for night time... i have had him for over a year.... i have a thermometer in his home and it always tells me his temp is proper... he has always been really active since i got him. but the last few days he has not moved hardly.. just across his cage a few times.. and barely opens his eyes.

He needs to have UVB.

This comes from a special bulb like a Reptisun 10.0

Without UVB they cannot properly aquire calcilum from the diet. If you have had him for over a year and he has had no UVB he probably has something called MBD (metabolic Bone Dieses).

Now, if you add a proper UVB bulb you may be able to reverse any damage that has happened but this needs to done ASAP.

Also, Dragons do not need or want any light in the night, if you use it for heat at night then you a Ceramic Heat emitter and not a bulb. A CHE should only be used if you house dropes below 65 F as dragons need and can handle a temp drop up to that amount.

Please send a picture of you dragon to help us better understand how he is doing.

Hi Temps also need to be monitored with a digital thermometer.

BAsking sopt should be between 105 and 120 F and the cool side should be between 82 and 87 F.

what is the brand and model?

If it is a MVB (Mercury Vapour Bulb) it may need to be replaced and if you did just replace it, it may be defective and casuing the issues you having.

Dragons need UVB rays not just UVA. UVB helps them with Calcium obsorbtion, UVA does not.
