I noticed when I came home that her eye was a little swollen. I didn't think much of it because I thought she was sleeping, but then I realized that there was some redness going on underneath her eye a little bit and her other eye was open (perfectly fine). Lily, will open it but it looks like she's struggling with it sometimes. The eye itself looks fine, its just the eyelid. She shows no sign of pain, she still runs around being adventurous and playful.

What is going on with her eye and how should I treat it?

Should I be concerned?

(the picture makes it look worse that what it actually is)

I would get that looked at sooner than later. You can bathe the eye with water that you have boiled and allowed to cool. But that needs veterinary attention.

How much do they usually charge for vet visits? And drops if it is an infection?

It does depend where you go, but I would expect at least 35 but poss more especially if see a specialist.

Just got back actually! Haha there was some sand in her eye so they flushed it out, and gave me drops to prevent it from infection. The redness around her eye was from her scratching at it. I leaned a lot because they place I bought her from didn't tell me the right way to properly take care of her! The vet informed me on what I should do now. So now I know what things I have to do so she can be healthy and grow to be a big beardie!!!
