Help in selecting a new beardie...

Our beloved Sephira died yesterday... she was a beautiful sunburst beardie who we loved every day of her life. She caught an infection somehow that turned her urate yellow. Her herpetologist found in her blood work that her white count was elevated, her kidneys were affected and possibly her liver functioning. We admitted her and they tried everything they could but she was too weak to pull through.

All of that said, we know that we're going to need to find a new beardie to try to heal the un-fillable hole in our family... what things should we look for in a beardie provider? Where should we go to get a healthy one? We rescued Sephira from a bachelor pad and are not sure how best to proceed...

sorry for your loss, it's never easy. do try to get your next beardie from a reputable breeder. there are some good ones right here on this site. its always nice to find one close to you so you can choose in person and get the one on one attention and info you need.
