Hey everybody! So this here is my buddy, named Buddy. When we first received her, we had no idea what her sex was, so we named her Buddy. When we later checked under the tail, we realized he is in fact a she (still not sure about that, could make another post regarding that later). That's not what were here for today. I've attached a pic to this post. What I want you to look at is her nose. We've notice a build up of a certain bit of debris not sure what it is, but her other nose is clear and you can see inside, but this one looks to be blocked with something. She's been shedding on her face, which has cleared up a bit. We've been giving her baths and I tries saline nasal spray which did absolutely nothing to help. I'm starting to get worried and don't have money for a few weeks to take her to the vet. When we take her out to play she occasionally runs headfirst into walls. I know that's a far shot, but could that be the case? Maybe she hit it too hard? We take her out to sleep with us every night and wrap her in blankets. Could the microfibers in the blanket be clogging her nose? If so, then the other one would be too right? It's been like this for two weeks now and I'm very worried. She often opens her mouth while breathing, or puffs her beard a bit in the morning. Her beard isn't black often, but I've seen it darken a little in the day. Is this normal? Will it pass? Please help

It's shed skin, it will work it's way out on it's own. You could wet a q-tip and roll it around on it try to get it to loosen up. Don't pick at it or pull it though, there is a small piece of cartilage that covers the nasal opening and protects them from getting things in their nose and you don't want to disturb it.

Looks like stuck shed and with baths but no nasal sprays are needed...it should come out/off all on their own..
On a side note I would highly recommend not sleeping with her at night this is very dangerous and I know of a friend that did this and in their sleep rolled over and didn't know it.. By the time it was known it was too late.. So please let them sleep in their own tank all safe and sound.
The breathing with the mouth open is called gapping and usually is while they are under their basking light and that means that temp feels good to them..puffing out the beard is normal too they stretch them...
