Lovely lookin beardies Hi n welcome to the forum :)
Thanks, these guys are great. Everyone here has such cool beardies... I am preparing custom enclosures for them in the next week. I have a pantry that isn't being used and going to convert into a custom area, and if everything works out right I can keep the two females in a 100 gallon in the living room, if they don't get along, I will make a third enclosure in the pantry. They were supposed to be 3 females and one male, but one female turned out to be a male. I planned on a really large enclosure for the three females if they got along, and then the male in the 100.

The breeder did notify me before I purchased that they update the site every couple of weeks and they were doing it that weekend, and BEFORE the sale, made sure I was aware it was actually a male. To make it right they offered me a considerable discount on another beautiful female dragon, but I had really liked the one I picked, so I kept it like it was. The dunners came from Florida, and the reds came from Cali. I tracked the shipping through fedex and they showed up in Memphis within 15-20 minutes of each other. And then from there they came here (OH) together, and the 2 packages arrived at 9:30 as one delivery. So far there has been no East Coast / West Coast Beef.....lol.... I do have them separated in their enclosures right now to help them adjust still don't have names for all of them yet. Just the Male Dunner - Git' R' Dunner and the female red - Rousey (could use some help in describing her lol) .... Naming them is harder than picking them out......

Welcome to your new addiction.
You might be addicted if your order 500 Dubai to your house....lol...They came shipped in a small box inside a larger box on one piece of large egg carton, which was disappointing. I would have preferred a couple deli cups, which would have made them easier to sort and more secure to handle. They crawl in every little corner in the box. It was a little nerve wrecking opening a box of 500 roaches for the first time, but after a while I got the nerve up lol and then sorted as best I could. Picking the largest ones out to start to breed a small colony so I don't have to buy as many if any....I tried the crickets, and in my noob opinion they pale in comparison in every way to the bugs. Except for the paranoia lol.... I handle these things like nuclear material. Tub in a tub(they have good ventilation), in a bucket, with double sided tape along the whole top lol...

No you know it's an addiction when you order ANY bugs to your house, not just roaches. Or that you spend longer making their meals than making your own. Or their living environment is cleaner than your living environment.

I got nervous the first time I ordered 500 crickets! In the summer they come in just the box with the mesh sides and I have them shipped to my work. I'm constantly checking to make sure they didn't eat through the box! I used put the 20 gallon tank in the tub and then dump the crickets into the tank this way if any got loose I could catch them. Now I've become a sorta pro at getting all the crickets out of the box and into their tank with no escapees!
