I'm worried about them growing daddy and being to big to feed to my babies, and over population....cooler temps a good preventing these?

Yes. I wouldn't let it get below 70 degrees, DADDY. :D I have read they can live at 60 degrees, but I would play it safe because I have also read stories of people's colony going into shock at the 60 degree range.

Hah to that autocorrect! XD

I have an update to my journey.
My colony wasn't being very active in the aquarium and I assumed it was solely due to heat, so I covered most of the mesh topping with cardboard and found that it brought my temperature up from 75 to 98!!

They're bustling now!
