Hey guys,

I haven't posted for a while, I'm hoping you guys can help me figure out whats wrong.
My dragon is around 7 months old. Eats greens, crickets and meal worms without any issues. However around 6 weeks ago I upgraded her tank her tank and she stopped growing at 60grams:
75 watt basking light
100w supplementary light
UVB 10.0
Basking spot between 105-110 (light cuts out at 110 and turns back on at 105.)
Ambient temp is around 85

She still eats alot, active, and poops once or twice a day but she just isn't growing. She also hasn't shed in about 6 weeks, but i still give her baths every day or so. I know there must be something wrong because for maybe 5 months or so she was constantly shedding. I feed her crickets 2-3 times a day and ofcourse fresh veg. Crickets get fresh veg and oranges every day and i dust with calcium (no d3) 5 days a week and multi vit (with d3) two days a week. There is also a bottle cap of calcium in the tank.

She has gained 10grams in the past week, so I'm hoping maybe it was just because of the cold of winter. Any help is greatly appreciated.

(pics for some reason haven't been sent to my email for some reason, so ill update with pics soon.)

When's the last time you changed out the UVB and where is it mounted in the tank? Is it a coil bulb or a tube style?

Have you had her for 7 months? She looks healthy. I looked back at my growth charts and when Dexter was 11 inches she was 76 grams and when Luci was 11 inches he was 91 grams. But I also estimated that they were about 4 months at that time.

My beardies also started to slowly gain weight at that size. Where they used to gain 5-10 grams a week they were gaining 1-5 grams.

From the pictures it looks like she has grown. Sometimes, when we are around them every day they don't seem to be getting bigger. I think Luci is stunted but then I see pictures and other people come over and tell me how big he is.

The only real way to tell if there is something wrong is to take him in for a vet check. They could do a fecal and see if he has parasites. Parasites will cause growth to be stunted because they are eating all the nutrients that should be going to your bearded dragon.

I forgot to mention....the cap of calcium powder isn't really needed in the tank. That is a gecko thing. If you are dusting your feeders like you said, you will be fine.

My girl Hermione is about the same. I got her at 5 1/2 months, had her for a little more than two months. I wasn't smart enough to measure when I got her, but she's still pretty tiny (about 12 inches). My older girl, who I got the same day is now almost 10 months and looks like a giant next to her! She is soooo adorable, btw!

I think that's pretty normal. Dragons grow extremely quick when they are young, eat and shed like crazy, but then slow down considerably nearing the one year mark and grow slowly over the course of 4-5 years more until full grown. Kind of like humans. Around 7 months should be the growth spurt stage starting to slow, like a young adult. Lané shed constantly when I brought him home for a good 6 months. Now he just sheds one body part at a time and I don't even notice until I do a full clean of the tank and sweep up sheds.

I think as long as she is eating and pooping well, active and alert, then I wouldn't worry too much. If you are, of course a vet check is always a good idea. But from the sounds of it, everything sounds normal
