General gecko question for owners

Anyone own any geckos? I posted a message similar to this on the gecko forums but i didnt get the kind of feedback i was hoping for (it seemed everyone on the forum only had lepord geckos(which i dont count as true geckos) and we’re giving me advice related to those.... i own a very sweet tokay gecko lol pretty different i know :)
My questions are pretty low stakes,
1. Crickets left in the enclosure (so Feedings are kind of difficult for geckos you can’t really hand feed them, atleast ive yet to accomplish it) he’s absolutely vicious with feeders , he only eats at night or when a bug is right infront of him, do you think its okay to leave bugs in the encloser for a tokay? Ya know the “pitbull of geckos” all the crickets run in terror when he starts to stir in his log hide.
2. supplements, i keep finding conflicting information about this, some say they dont need it cause they dont have true scales, others say they absolutely do cause “Osteoderms” (the kinds of proto scales they do have) need it, (i have just been giving supplements but very sparingly cause I didn’t know if I could be hurting him)
3. Baths/misting , ive read tokays and most geckos have antibacterial skin (radical i know) they come from thailand (hot, humid) do you think I should mist the gecko every now and again and thatd be beneficial? His enclosure is humid to the max, daily misting , a fogger, and three live plants so its not like he’s without aid in shedding and digestion.
These are very general questions so i hope i dont look too stupid, i cant seem to find any care guides on tokays specifically, so ive been flying by the seat of my shorts and my past care of similar gecko species and anything i can find on utube, any information is greatly appreciated :)
