I feed blue bottle flies to my mantids and my smaller tarantulas. I have read about many different foods for beardies but never flies!
My little t's get fat on bbs. If I were to snip a wing on each fly they would be good easy yummys but I would not expect to use them as a staple! Just an extra fun food. I buy plenty for my others. The flies never have a chance to breed or make trouble so unless they would be some kind of trouble I don't know about would they be ok? I feed them honey and ground beepollen before my pets see them.
