I wanted to get a male beardie but alas, I got a female and should I expect anything different from a male bearded dragon??
Females tend to be more calm (Not always...) Males can be more reactive to their environment: their reflection, seeing another dragon causing them to glass surf, black beard, head bobbing. Doing this because they want to mate (they will act this way even if they are not sexually mature). Also to fight. The other big thing is they won't become gravid and won't have the reproductive risks of being female. Males tend to be more active in general.
