I just got a baby bearded dragon from repticon and he is 2 months old. Do you think that the basking area is close enough to the light?if not, how should I get it closer?

Idk about the basking light. As long as your temperature is good is all that matters there. 105-110°F is optimal but the uvb light looks too far away. For the compact bulbs like that you are looking to get him within 6"
A strip light would give you better coverage and output. A T5 will give you the best results output wise. Within 12" there. The larger florescent tubes are recommended 8" I believe but I may be wrong there. I use the T5 10.0 uvb.

lol, something about that baby beardie sittin on the skull is oddly cute to me. what kind of light are u using first of all. if it is a 100 watt specific for basking that should be fine but what u really want to do is pick up a infrared thermometer to get the surface readings. u can get one ate petco for about $30.

Its unfortunately not something you can tell from a picture. You will really need to buy either an infrared temp gun or a digital thermometer with a probe that you can place directly on the basking area. Those ones that you stick to the side like you have are notorious for being off unfortunately.
