Enclosure measurements?

I'm planning on building a melamine enclosure.. I know 4x2x2 is a recommended size, unfortunately the perfect stand I have will only accommodate an enclosure that is:

4 feet long
1 1/2 feet deep
2 feet high

I'd be missing a half a foot in depth but my adopted beardie is currently in an 18x18x24.

Do you think that measurement is still ok for her lifetime?

It's a little smaller than ideal but maybe you can make up for it by making it a bit higher and adding a second level?

So 4 foot long,
1 1/2 feet wide
and let's say 3 feet high?

Any advice on how to properly make a second level?

Just put like half a 4x2 cut going along the back wall with some kind of ramp?
