My beardie just ate a piece of its shed! Is this normal?!

very, usualy in order to peal their shed they bite it off

No but, it was sitting in the bottom of her tank and she went up to it and ate it!

its ok i went to take out the shed peices and my beardie jumped up and snatched them from my hand and ate them

lol i have 2 seen my beardie eat his shed & never had ne problems. i have a gecko & believe it or not, but when they shed they actually always eat their shedded skin!

Mine sometimes eats his when he sheds around the mouth and eyes.
