Some bulb companies say their product is good at least 6 months. Maybe 9. For about $200 there a device that lets you check the bulb for effectiveness. For $30 or so bucks I’m just gonna get new, have about 1 month left on my current bulb.So I will take him outside when it’s hot and I’ll turn the house to 72° that’s the most my parents will let lol. But the summer is almost over so I’ll have to figure something else out soon. And that do you mean plop him up angled?
I’ve been using the 5.0 bulb ever since I got him…. Hope he’s not hurt! The vet told me that the way UVB bulbs work is that by 4 months they start deteriorating and at 6 months it’s dead so he said I should replace it 4-5 months after I get it so since he said that I just got the 10.0 bulb so if I start using that will he be more active? Cus he’s pretty lazy.
