I took Spike to a pet expo yesterday, but it said pets must be well behaved and on a leash. So I made one up quick out of paracord, one thing I liked is unlike the "vest" kind this doesn't get caught on his Spike's, and its a lot easier to put on. Anyway does anyone else leash their lizard? And if so what are you using? Thanks!

I bought Dexter one that was a vest but it was for small critters like ferrets. It fit her real nice and I liked that it had a bell on it so I could hear her if she did wander off but the arm holes were too big and she was able to get her front legs out of it.

I had that problem too sorta except as I would get one leg in he'd pull it out as I went for the other. Honestly he really didn't need to be leashed, he's a daddy's boy but just to be safe

I bought Dexter's only because I thought it would be perfect to use for her Halloween costume last year but then never used it. The leash detaches from the vest which is nice. We've been letting her roam free in a few rooms of the house, having a bell on her would be a nice touch but she's too smart for that :) Luckily for me she's not very fast!

I have a vest type that i got for toviah. Havent used it much. Was goingvto use it judt dobi could kind of keep track of him (the leash trailing) but hes too fast and all over the place. It would work better for bella (more sedentary) but i believe i like the idea of bells. Could get different tones and have a bell choir!

I need a bell for Allie. She's so quiet. But you know what? I could hear her on the floor. Her little nails make noises when she's on the floor in the house. But outside, she's quiet.

Yup! I always put harnesses on my guys when they go outside or on a ride with me in the car. I sell these harnesses in the for sale section of this forum sight also. You ca see a picture of four of my sub adult females wearing them on that thread. ;)

I knitted a little cardi for my Beardie Isabelle so we could have her join in with everyone wearing pink for the race for life breast cancer charity and I can attach a lead to the back of the cardi to keep her safe. I knitted it in baby yarn so it wouldn't irritate her and made it in a double knit so it was extra stretchy.

It's lovely taking Isabelle out for a walk in the summer. She just sits on my shoulder while I walk round. I get stopped all the time by people wanting to stroke her. I have had one lady run away screaming tho. Haha. Here she is in the park with me.
