& if you can post the links to the items that I need instead of the thrive setup that would be super helpful the cheapest way I could fix her setup

I have been putting neosporin on her foot for the past 3 days I haven’t used betadine or vetericyn sense because of it harming the new skin I will soak her now in betadine if that doesn’t look good. I just read that the pain relief neosporin is toxic to them so I switched to the regular yesterday could that be why? There’s a reptile expo coming to my area in a month that has a lot of the tube uvb lights, is the thrive setup I have now suitable until then?
I would get it changed out now- in another month it could be infected and then it may be too late- what do you plan to do? Are staying w/ ty he mvb or going w/ a regular basking bulb? I can have you get this stuff off a website that's good on shipping-

Here are the links you asked for
www.pangeareptiles.com
24" fixture Zoo Med comes w/ a 5.0 bulb please get the 22" Reptisun 10.0 T 5 bulb hang onto the 5.0 for a back up distance and placement for this bulb is different from the 10.0 or this fixture Arcadia Pro T 5 w/ the 12% bulb
or this one a Sunblaster Nano Tech
https://www.pangeareptile.com/colle...d-reptisun-10-0-uvb-t5?variant=26907418591332 22" bulb
https://www.pangeareptile.com/colle...-12-uvb-bulb-with-hood?variant=39549895475242 this one is sold out--check petsmart if you have one they are sold out where I live but you might be able to get this where you are https://www.petsmart.com/reptile/en...reptile-prot5-uv-b-kit-65058.html?cgid=500114
or this one https://hydrobuilder.com/sunblaster-nanotech-t5-ho-fixture-with-6400k-lamp.html 2ft or 24"
these are all really good UVB's
Power Sun you will probably need to get a stand so you can adjust the height for basking temps
Personally I would stay w / the clear bright white basking bulb its going to be easier to adjust her temps w/ the MVB you haft to lower or raise to get correct temps --- after 6 months of UVB w / these they need to be changed out the heat is good but the UVB is pretty much gone -- but I would get the UVB NOW do not wait another month I have AHBD looking at the foot now to see what she says what you should do w/ it --

Ok can I add that uvb strip bulb & keep the thrive bulb for heat? Let me know what AHBD says about her foot, & thank you for all the help

She looked at the foot and this is what she said
I can't see much difference, doesn't look bad to me but I always stress that if they, the owner, are really worried they can make a vet appt. Foot looks O.K. to me though.
You can keep the thrive bulb for heat if its a CLEAR WHITE bulb -- no off color white or yellowish color --- but get the UVB ordered ASAP--- pangea is really good about getting orders out --- they ship Fed Ex

Yay! So happy her foot is better. Looks better to me too. It looks like its at the stage where is scabbing over to heal. Please, please be careful with the cleaners. They will damage the new skin. But you do what you feel is right for you and the baby. I'm not gonna get into the whole light/UVB thing because again, its up to you. We all mean well on this forum and try to help the best we can. I'm a fairly new dragon owner myself but I have done a ton of research and weeded out the good advice from the bad. I'm also not made of money and still provide my dragon what he needs to be healthy contrary to popular opinion about the different lights. Check out Animal1Guy on YouTube and find the episode of his experiments with different lights. Hope all goes well and I am unable to read what advice you were given about the toe so if I was wrong about the Neosporin I apologize and I totally blanked on the pain reliever Neosporin. Very sorry about that too.

Did you follow AHBD 's advice w/ the toe --- it doesnt look good ---- the Thrive brand and bulb get rid of it please they are NO good -- if you want to stay w/ the MVB please get a PowerSun or a Mega Ray here is some info on distances and placement for them bulbs -- your dragons foot is not going to heal w/ out good UVB and I also recommend getting a long tube fixture for UVB most of the MVB do not emit enough UVB to be effective and you dont want that --- she needs good UVB
The 100w should be at around 12'' above the main basking area for both models. Best not to have a mesh screen in between. If there is a mesh screen, then moving up to a higher wattage (160w I believe in both cases) and slightly raising the distance to maybe 14-16'' or so would be good. I don't have one of the higher wattage models to test though.
If you decide to go w/ just a regular basking bulb get a CLEAR bright white bulb like a Exo Terra Intense bulb NO INFRARED --- start w/ a 100 watt use your digital probe thermometer to get surface temps and if you need websites for the long tube fixture I can post them for you but you want a 24" fixture either way for the basking bulbs your going to use --- but please get rid of the Thrive brand
Sadie, why is the thrive brand no good?

Thank you I will check out that video and stick with neosporin for the next few days. I just picked this up let me know if it’s sufficient and about placement if not I will return it & order the one online

Hey, you'll have to check with Sadie for approval on the light. She's the expert in that field. I'd love an update on the toe in a week or two though. Thanks.

This is my 3 month old bearded dragons foot I received her with a toe nip that looked a bit infected. I have been soaking her foot in diluted betadine, spraying with vetericyn & giving her baths daily. Do I need to bring her to a vet or will the toe fall off & heal by itself. Please let me know asapView attachment 30927
Wounds take a long time to heal.I use neat Tamodine on my dragon which promotes faster healing. You can buy it online. I used to dab it on twice daily.

update on the foot let me know if I should continue with neosporin and or keep on the betadine. Took a break with the betadine about a week ago and with neosporin a few days ago been giving her daily baths to keep it clean & a spray of veteceryn once every day or 2. It looks like scales are starting to come back on the toes

Yes it’s a t8 50 uvb I posted a picture if you scroll up a bit. Is this a sufficient uvb? I have it set up velcroed inside of her tank I will post a picture tomorrow when I’m home

Yes I saw it did you also order the reptisun bulb-- if not please do it's a way better bulb and take the cover off the fixture leave it off - distance 6-8 inches directly above the basking decor

Looks great! You could probably back off on the Neosporin and vetericyn for now. Doesn't look like there are any open wounds anymore. Maybe bathe the foot every other day or two also. Just watch for any changes and keep her enclosure clean. You've done very well with her.
