So my six month old bearded Dragon has started doing digging behaviors. He has a mat in his tank so I want to make him a dig box. What should I use to put in the dig box?

Plain topsoil mixed w/ play sand-- make sure the topsoil has nothing in it -- fertilizers additives etc - look at your local home improvement stores

We like to add some sphagnum moss. Helps hold humidity to keep soil moist. Also, keep lid on container when not in use. We have to keep a "lay box" ready for our female beardies.
