LMAO.. i had a bluey do a death roll on my pinkie a couple of years ago. Yoda has given me a little love bite a few weeks ago, (only because l was stupid enough to hand feed.... note to self - when hand feeding, place food in palm of hand and not on end of finger -), i was more shocked than hurt

Yep! They have choppers. My youngest and I both learned the hard way. She scared him by trying to pick him up from behind and he got her thumb. Gobi then tried to bite me for trying to take a "no-no" NON-food away. Felt like a nasty paper cut when it happened, and was sore like one for almost a week after.

Whoever said they don't have teeth? lol How else do they crunch and much on insects/food in general. My baby accidentally bit me a few times before, and I can tell ya it hurts. Not too painful, nothing in comparison to monitors, iguanas, tokays, the list goes on. Even snakes have teeth.

My Daughter also fell fowl to their bites. One of our boys was out having a prowl one day and she was winding him up by wiggling her toes at him. She will never do it again tho after he clamped his jaws round her big toe. She now has a 'V' shaped scar on her toe and had bruised toenail for weeks. We thot it was funny but she didnt :)

Every lizard I have most certainly have teeth. I have been bitten enough to know. My female beardie peggy bit me hard when I was trying to get a syringe in her mouth it did not break the skin though so their teeth don't do as much damage as my other lizards.

My tegus are very friendly they free roam most days when I am home. I also have dogs and they are fine with the, Chevy is going through a fresh faze so he is trying to sample toes but that should pass.
