Hey, seems like there is a good amount of members on this forum but it also seems to me that I see the same 4 or 5 people only posting? Doesnt make sense to me.

Beardeddragon.org has more members I believe but I just dont feel as cared for as I do on here. I got little help on some of my questions on there. On this site, I get help very easily and I thank you all for it. I am new to BD's. (I had 2 green basiliks few years ago though).

again, thanks all!

Yo, Spike! I'm glad that ur happy with this site, there are members here that just like 2 help out & that's what keeps people coming back. Not 2 familiar with .org, their home page gave me a headache.

ya, I think they are the top forum around on BD's because just type 'bearded dragon forum' in google and it comes up first. plus it seems more people post on it and it has more menus. BUT in saying so, I am on this site 90% of the time now because I feel the people on here are more real.

score on for beardeddragonforum.com :)

LOL!! I think this forum is fantastic in the sense that I have gotten all of my questions answered so quickly! The people who are on here really do "give a hoot" so to speak!! Plus, I credit this forum for introducing me to some people I have become friends with!

Im fond of both forums. I will rarely mention .org on another forum out of simple respect, however this time I will just mention that its size is also its main drawback. Posts tend to get lost in the shuffle. This forum is smaller at the moment and has a more intimate feel to it. Both forums have a place as far as Im concerned and I would like that this thread does not become a "bash the other guy thread" please.

I've not been to the other forum, i do however visit an aussie forum and i don't feel it's as good as here. I've learnt so much about beardies
and other countries for that matter. I've had one member send me ranch dressing because i hear about it all the time and have never tried it (evern tho it was sent to me it never arrived due to our stupid quarantine laws) Big thankyou to you (you know who you are.
I also like the closenesss, i don't feel like i'm being judged on what l believe or .. like l was on the aussie forum and posted a pic of the enclosure... well did l get **** canned because l used a rainbow colour well... look left and you'll see it. I was told l was not being natural and that it was silly.. my kids gave it to yoda as a gift and l wasn't taking it out because it wasn't natural.. Here on this site, no one has picked crap at it.. anyway.. a big thanks to everyone who makes this site what it is !! Hip Hip Hooooooray!!

to be honest this is the only bearded dragon forum i know, came across it by accident on twitter. I used to run a reptile forum, and have used many others over the years. But this place is a specialist for our BD's. I also notice the same people post but thats what makes it a good community - lots of members but same people that keep the community going. Sometimes if a forum is far to busy posts get lost before people can read/reply to them

This is exactly how I came and joined this community site. By accident, via Twitter, after hitting "follow" on their page. Now, I have been able to not only form beardie friendships, but the two ladies I have become friends with here (including lizardlover) because of these wonderful animals, are also my friends in common bond due to our children and their specialness.
