So I bought crickets as a feeder insect
for my bearded dragon, and one got loose. How long do they usually live and is there anything I can do? Thank you in advance.

    Learn to appreciate crickets LOL!

Without a food source and if it's cold, they should die quick. I remember when I first started out I was sitting at my desk and looked up and said "oh look there's a cricket on my ceiling" and just continued on with what I was doing LOL!

lol Yea they won't live long you will likely find it when you vacuum, or it will be by a heat vent or heat source.
@PatsyB that's awesome!! I did that with a full grown male Dubia but he was just crawling down the hall one night and the cats were just watching it lol I just went and picked it up and put it back in the tub and carried on.. LOL

On the show Scaled, how we decided to venture into world of reptile pets, they made a little trap with paper or plastic cups and put strawberry pieces in them, no one thought it would work, they caught several in their huge workshop in Canada.

If they get loose at my house, no big deal. Just catch them when they make themselves visable and feed them to Julio! Early punishment, haha.)

Oh gosh I wish I could find the story posted by someone not long ago (but I have no idea on which platform) about the not-quite-closed cricket box and the ensuing hilarity. It was a crackup!

I wish I only had one loose! My son decided today after I got a shipment of 100 bright eyed and bushy tailed crickets to play with the cricket keeper right after I put the crickets in it! I left the room for 3 minutes and when I came back in he dumped about 30 into my bedroom :( I think I killed about 15 :( I wanna cry!!! He’s hysterical laughing
