I figured out the whole not eating veggie issue. He will not eat anything green. He will eat red, orange and yellow only. I want to make sure he gets the the nutrition he needs. Any tips on what I can feed him that is not green to ensure proper diet. I tried some broccoli today (have not tried it until today, did not think he would eat it) and he got some by mistake and spit it out. His favorite is red bell pepper and then next in line is squash then cantaloupe.

The next question is I noticed that when I feed him red bell pepper he tends to have red very loose but not yet diarrhea? Is this normal or could there be something more going on? When I take away his bell peppers for a couple of days his poop goes back to normal.

Bell peppers are fine ;). Poo is fine

Yellows
Squash
Dandelion Flowers
yellow bell pepper

Orange
Butternut pumpkin

Red
Hibiscus flowers
Purple cabbage

If you want him too eat something green flavor it with Kiwi fruit, he should love the sweet taste.

As long as I still mix in other things can the peppers be fed daily?

Careful with the phos content in peppers. you'll want to make sure your calcium regiment is on track. Peppers also contain a high % of water, which account for his loose stool. But generally, as long as you mix it with the other foods, it won't cause you a problem.

I am finding that he will pick out the peppers and leave the rest so should I start to limit the peppers to once or twice a week?

I would. Try the kiwi a couple of days, dandilion flowers and day or two, squash on another day, and the peppers in between. If you know they're making is poop loose, give them like on Monday and Thursday instead of back to back.

will do. I was able to get him to eat a couple of bits of squash. I will try the kiwi but he will not go near anything green but I hope the sweet smell with make him try it.
