constant black beard?

this is more out of curiosity rather than concern, but my beardie has a constant semi black beard, never knew if this was a normal thing or not, hes been like this for 7ish months now and hes doing fine!

also yes! hes in shed

That likely is his normal beard colors it's pretty normal for some blackish color to show up, but that's no black beard lol have you had him blackbeard fully yet??

only a couple times aha, i dont really do much to make him mad. the only time i remember is one time i woke him up because beginner me was worried about him cause he was sleeping and breathing very softly so i woke him up and he puffed up and tried to bite me and hissed at me, only time hes ever done ANYTHING like that

It's very striking! Kinda like a man with salt and pepper hair LOL! Just looks like his scales lay so that it shows more of the black.

Handsome! It's probably just his natural coloration - the beard on mine also darkens towards the base of the neck, it never occurred to me to ask about it!
