Hello. Can someone help me. My guys has always pooped once every other day. For the last month or so my bearded dragon will go a week without pooping until we soak him. This is what it looks like. Is this concerning?

The urate looks good --- what are you feeding him? Going to have a poop specialist take a look at it

It’s not like a slimy mucus more like a thin membrane
Its strange looking I have someone looking at it see what she thinks - is this the first time or is it like this all the time? Never mind I read the post above --- keep a watch on it and see if it keeps happening -- they do get odd poops now and then --- but lets see what the person I reached out to thinks

Thank you. He has me all confused! Sometimes he seems tired and lethargic then other times he’s totally normal.

If hes eating basking and pooping and moving around he is fine --- its when they stop doing that is time to be concerned

He is eating, but less interested. He will bask but not as much as he used to. He spends time on his hammock on the cool side and in his hide (inside the basking rock. He will only poop when we soak him. Temps are correct, you helped me move my T8 inside the enclosure. I’m lost.

How old is the T 8? Older dragons don't poop as often - mine don't poop but every couple of weeks-

It looks like brumation but he’s too young and it’s not the right season…

I moved him from the cave to the rock so that he will warm up and eat
Hes a pretty boy -- please change the UVB next month - they go thru periods of not eating so just keep an eye on him - how has the weather been where you are -- rainy? cool?

She got back w/ me and this is what she said
If I'm a specialist then I might need a consulting fee, lol.
How old is your dragon ? As they grow they often poo less frequently so once a week is pretty normal. The color is likely from eating lots of greens. Beardies often poo in the water, it stimulates them to go.
