I love how much Puff changes colors when he gets to go outside :)

Yea they get some great color while soaking up the rays.. Words of advice I would get a harness on Puff as they can get very easily spooked and they are super fast... Even if you think he won't run off and hasn't so far as @PatsyB will support the need for harness...

I totally understand the concern. He has a harness that's just slightly too big, and he gets fractious when it's on and slips out of it. Needs a little more growth :)

I use hip leashes for both of mine I use paracord with those spring loaded cord lock deals that are on sleeping bags that keep them closed (sorry brain not working) work great for all sizes..

I love leashes. They are adjustable and fit different sized dragons. Like Hdrydr31 said, I recently had an argument with my boyfriend when we took Dolly to the park. He said she is a lump and won't move, I insisted on a leash. We got to the park and she got scared and ran off. Luckily she didn't get far because I had the other end of the leash!

I always use a leash just to be sure, even if my Lizz is the calmest little mommas girl that will rather cling to me than run off if spooked. They are animals and you just can't know how they will react at any time.

Is there a preferred leash style/brand?

I remember buying one for my iguana when I was a kid, all it did was piss him off.

Whatever is easiest for you. Some people like the harness type, I prefer just a paracord adjustable leash because it fits all sizes.

Just googled those hip leashes, they look like they can be made fairly easily? I want to take Rami out but the traditional leashes are too big for him. I like the hip leashes much better!
