its normal. my beardies all do it when they get cold and are trying to absorb some extra heat to warm up. they also change color when they get irratated. only other time i notice a color change in mine is like jeff says, when they shed their colors look kinda dirty.
100% normal. Mine starts off darkish till she warms up then shes a sand colour, when it gets really hot she goes yellow and white and if i take her outside in the sun she goes dark brown and black
