I’m reaching out now because I’m scared and that takes a lot. This is going to be a lengthy post but please bare with me.... Cleo was my first and I swear I’ve been trying my best to ensure he has the best possible care. T8 10.0 34” uvb, basking spot of 110 and greens every two day and crickets as the past few months because of a shortage in discoids for Florida. Yes I’ve been supplementing vitamins and calcium with rep-cal. Here’s everything....about a week ago Cleo started to limp....I noticed it and closely watched him...now it’s no weight on it or touching him....here are some picture please....any advise is appreciated...also im in Kissimmee Florida I really can’t find a certified vet for exotic pets that I trust. Help please if possible?!

He could have jumped off something at tweaked the leg. It's very hard to know, a vet would need to take an xray to determine what's wrong.

Been there done that got a bs answer now I have another appointment Wednesday with a BD specialist vet in Orlando. I’m praying it’s not MBD but it’s not looking good because of the shaking.

Damn, was it an exotic vet you saw? I got a wonky answer from a vet that treats beardies but wasn’t a vet that specialized in them. She said MBD right away, something about the opacity of the bones. When I went to the exotic vet and they did a blood test, calcium levels were fine.

How old is your UVB bulb? I wish I could read X-rays. The only thing that stands out to me is that elbow on the right arm, it’s not as solid white as the rest of the bone, as if it’s disinergrating.

Uvb was changed out this past July and I’m not 100% sure the vet was truly exotic qualified for reptiles....

is at his final stage of what will end up happening to him....just got back from the vet....blood panel came back perfect minus some hormones that were elevated due to the inflammation in his arm...X-rays were done again and it shows some scary news....one way or another he is going to have his right arm amputated. It’s either a tumor or bone cancer that’s moving up his arm and is now in his humerus. Fluid was taken from his wrist and elbow and was sent off to the lab. We will know in two days the results...but just the prelim exams still scare me. Here’s a copy of his blood work and a picture of Cleo just because

The thing that concerns me, if it's a tumor or cancer, why are the blood tests perfect? If the body was fighting something the WBC count would be high. There are some things that are in the higher range but not out of the range.

Not entirely it wouldn’t be elevated typically because it’s not an infection. Least that’s how it was explained to me. His CPK numbers were higher but that’s a hormone that if its higher indicates inflammation.
