Cleaning basking log

So my new beardie has developed a habit of pooping on his basking log. Of course I pick it up as soon as I see it, but I was wondering if I should scrub it down every time he does it and if so, what should I use to clean it?

You don't have to clean it every single time but cleaning it every couple days is good. You can use warm water and soap or you can use a mixture of water and vinegar.
