Dis he have 3 circular connected dots in a triangle above his nose as a juvie?

Like the faint ones you see on this pic?

Not really they are three connected circles on top of the nose.

Lets try it this way, is the inside of his mouth yellow or pinkish?

Trademark traits of P. barbata

If it aint yellow like the pics I've shown as well as not possesing the dots above the nose as a juvie then I'd have to say not an eastern.

i just looked in his mouth again its all yellow

Well you could be one of the lucky few that have come accross a specimen with a P. barbata. The lateral tubercle formation on the sides of Carlton as well as the tail certainly display barbata like characteristics from the pics. The colour and patterning throws me off a bit though, he could be a hybrid.

Ok, I've done tons of research about beardies and I've never known there are different types... How many different ones are there? I know about morphs, and all that but what's the eastern thing?

Their different sub-species of Pagonas (bearded dragons) mate

Here's a list of the different species

Pagona henrylawsonii = Pygmy or black-soiled dragon
Pagona minima = Dwarf bearded dragon
Pagona minor = Western bearded dragon
Pagona mitchelli = North western or Mitchell's bearded dragon
Pagona microlepidota = Kimberly bearded dragon
Pagona nullarbor = Nullarbor bearded dragon
