By Day 4, She Looks A Lot Better, And I Couldn’t Be More Proud Of Her :)

For those who don’t know, four days ago, I bought a small bearded dragon from Petco. She was the smallest, most malnourished, skinny, sick looking bearded dragon I’ve ever seen. Her health was so bad, the poor baby could barely open her eyes. My heart sunk, and I knew at that moment, I needed to do something to save her.

I posted on this forum with hopes I could get some advice on how to make her grow big and strong like she should’ve been. A whole bunch of wonderful people responding to me giving me tips and tricks on how to nurture her through her illnesses, and ways to get her back into shape. Thank you to everybody who reached out because after only four days, she’s looked 1 million times better.

I’m not saying that she’s completely better and looks normal. I’m not saying that she doesn’t have work to do, because there still a whole bunch of progress that still needs to be made. I just hope that these pictures give people hope in the small little things.

Here is a picture of my little girl from day one to today :)

She definitely looks better-- as long as she has good lighting UVB NO coils and good basking temps and a good diet she should bounce back real good -- what are you feeding her ?

She eats crickets with calcium powder sprinkled on them. She eats a lot of kale. Sometimes I think she prefers vegetables so I spray it with a calcium supplement so that she still getting what she needs. I got her to drink some apple juice and strawberries. So she is getting fruits vegetables and protein :)

Ok the apple juice has a lot of sugar I would back off on that---- did I give you the nutrition website? If not I will get it posted later along w/ some websites for insects and worms- so glad she's doing better- did you get the UVB changed out?
