What does that mean? Did the one die?
yeah. He saw the vet yesterday who gave him a vitamin b12 injection to stimulate appetite and are keeping him isolated until he gets a clean bill of health

QUESTION: is bayberry wood safe to use for climbing on? It's a hardwood. No leaves

So the one that they pulled that you were going to adopt that was really sick died? I posted a website back on the first page of the post for wood - go back thru your post and find the post

No, hes not dead he's in isolation.

And it says hardwood and bayberry is a hardwood but the leaves have oils but not the wood itself

So as long as the wood is not dripping sap and you take all the leaves off it should be ok - I would bake it to get rid of anything living in it -
  • You will then need to bake the wood in the oven for at least 30 minutes at 130 degrees or 260 Fahrenheit. This process will kill of any parasites and remaining bacteria. Allow to cool before handling.
