Brumation

We have a 2 year old beardie and was wondering if it was normal for beardies to brumate twice a year. He went into brumation in October last year after he stopped eating but didn't go into full brumation just sleeping for a few days at a time and now he doing the same thing. He hasn't eaten for about a month now and came home to him asleep.

I think it is possible to brummate a few times a year. I haven't experienced a full brummation with mine yet but some people say that their's have brummation for months only to wake up and go back to sleep.

Make sure you still give him baths once a week and try to offer food and water. They may still wake up for a bit to eat and drink and then go back to sleep.
