so what would you recommend to breed with a zero. Is it better to make het zeros or visuals from a zero? I'm a new breeder any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hey there!

Typically the only gene that is stable to breed visible is Hypomelanistic. With this, I would advise breeding Het to Het. You will get fewer Zeros, but it is important to focus on genetic strength over results. For example, some breeders have gotten relaxed with breeding translucent. This has brought back instability in the line.

As a general rule of thumb, breeding Het to Het will always rule.
