I ordered Dubia roaches but didn’t realize I needed a certain bowl. I ordered the bsfl you recommended also
You can use a feeder box rather than putting them in a bowl in the tank. Like a Rubbermaid box with a flat bottom. Just put your baby in there for feeding time and place your bugs in.

I just use this...see pic below. If you only put in a couple (2 or 3) small or medium roaches in it at a time, they wont climb out befire your dragon gobbles them up lol. If you put in a lot, they use each others backs to climb out. The calcium dusting kind of stuns them for a minute lol. I put them in a zip lock baggie with a teeny pinch of calcium powder and shake them and then dump them in his bowl. He is used to the sound of the bag shaking and knows it means bugs lol.

The bowl is for mainly the BSFL so they dont get out - the small dubias will also stay in the bowl too until the roaches are bigger then they will get out - those white bowls I think I posted a link from Amazon work great for salads too

I got mine at target in the dishes section. I dont put the dubias in with greens because they use the greens to climb out too lol. The bsfl i put right on top of the greens.

He will not eat out of the bowl. I have to release them in front of him so he can see them try to run away and then he goes to attack them and eat them. The first day he ate the bsfl out of the bowl, but now he won’t do that either. He’s picky.

Keep putting the BSFL in there first before feeding the dubias - he will get hungry enough he will eat them -
