yes thdude, there are lots down here in fl, but mostly anole lizards! & u are correct bout the color changing & losing their tails(tis a defence mechanism). it's actually kind of weird, i've noticed a few anole's around my house generally hang out in the same areas. the biggest anole i have ever seen, that is actually a dark brown, always hangs out on 1 side of my house by some of my potted flowers. while the brightest green anole i've ever seen likes 2 hang out on the end of my dock! they're funny lil guys 2 watch!
