bleach mix to clean logs?

I have a log hide that I need to disinfect for the gecko I'm going to be getting. Is bleach ok to usse to clean it or will the wood absorb it?

A bleach solution is fine. Don't soak the log, spray it, scrub it, and rinse really well. Let is dry and you should be good.
