Or shed-- is she shedding ?
Not shedding now. Shed his entire body about 2 weeks ago, that's when he started the behavior change. Also why I thought the eye issue may have been some shed in the eye, or he scratched the eye trying to remove the shed. He rubs it on things all the time. I can tell it really bothers him.

I read about coils, have the t5, no colored lights etc.
Where is the T 5 top of screen or inside the tank? Depending on the screen it can be on top but the screen needs to be a wide hole type no fine mesh it blocks approx 30% of the rays

On top, but wide hole, its actually fencing from a chicken coop that I use to protect my vegetable garden in the summertime.

A long shot here. Sometimes an eye infection (if it is an infection) can be caused by a lack of vitamin A. This is called Hypovitaminosis A. Carrots, peas, corn etc are good vitamin A veggies.
If it's not an eye infection then possibly as you mentioned above, it could be a piece of skin from the last shed but I would doubt that as it is nearly a month and a half that has passed since his last shed.
A good reptile vet could also apply some eye drops but i normally mix honey and water at a ratio of 1:4. I also never use tap water because of the chemicals within. An ear bud to administer the solution to the problem area.
If an insect bit him (which I doubt) as if it were really painful he would not open his eye at all.
Mites 'normally' attack both eyes, so that should rule that out and your enclosure looks spotless to say the least. If in doubt some F10 when deep cleaning sometime in the future.
All the best & good luck. Hope the recovery is speedy.

Bill is doing better. It was definitely a chunk of skin from his shed 2 weeks ago. The reptarinse got it out. Also, turns out he detests calcium powder, which is why he wasn't eating. Going to have to figure something out for that. Still sucks at eating his veggies too, but he's young. Hopefully as long as I keep offering them he'll get used to them. Found a good reptile vet, taking him in for a wellness check in early February. Thanks everyone for all of your advice.

If he detests calcium powder feed him BSFL and you won't need to give him calcium

Nevermind, Googled it. Any websites you could recommend for BSFL? I doubt the 2 shops in my area carry them.
