I've never posted here before but would always come peak around on this site for information.
I'm completely crushed as my beardie passed away. He was an older guy, we rescued him last August and he had a good last year with us. I absolutely adore him and I'm so sad thinking he won't be physically around. I just came here for support.

I'll be burying him in the garden at the spot he loves.

I am sorry to hear this- do you know what he passed from? It's hard not to get attached to them- most people do- - they are like our babies- again I am sorry to hear and I know the feeling too well

He started getting tail rot at the tip of his tail, and it was progressing rather quick. Couldn't figure out what may have triggered it. So he went in for surgery, and never woke up. Blood tests came back indicating possible cancer but they'd need to look into it more to confirm that.
He was an older guy, over 7 or 8 they said but couldn't confirm at age. He was also in a neglected home before he became a part of our lives.

And oh right :( he seems to enjoy every day. Every little adventure we went on. If he was suffering inside, I'd like to think that he chose to go, but regardless just knowing he isn't here anymore is very hard:(

That's the sad part at least he was brought into your home and given the love and care he needed before passing on- so many are neglected and incorrect husbandry it's sad! Again my condolences -
