Beardie ate a fly?

My 8 month old beardie was hanging out with me and so his tank was left open. I went to put him back in and when I set him down, I was trying to get the fly out, next thing I know, he runs to the corner of the cage and eats the fly. It was so bizarre and I really didn’t think he’d be able to move that fast. Is he going to be okay or do flies carry parasites?

He should be fine. Just keep an eye on him for any weird behavior but one fly shouldn't hurt him.
