what kind of calcium were you using
most reptile based calcium supplements have vitamin d3 in them. this is the type i use.

OT Nice touch with the Cryptic Dragon lettering on the tanks Bri. Their boamaster (sp) tanks I presume?

Here's a pic of mine mate I use an MVB as well.

I have two digital thermometers running in that tank the one you see in front (top bit of the enclosure) has a 1 metre probe through the wall in the inside where i can place at different areas on the enlosure and a thermometer/digital thermostat (smalbox mounted on the back wall) that monitors air temps linked to my CHE on the roof.

Here's a fluoro set that i run for one of my other specimens.

I know it is off topic but I thought both of your setups are great! Even pulled my husband in to see them...

im a little confused on what i should do i know i need to take it to the vet and raise the temps and make sure i give it the proper UV lighting. and change its diet to roaches and silk worms i am trying to do what you guys are telling me to do

It can be confusing when you first start caring for these little guys. I'm sorry that you are having a tough time getting his setup underway. Based on the behavior that you have described and the setup issues you have, I really think you should get the little guy checked out.

For proper care of bearded dragons, you need to have the right temperatures, the right widget to measure the temperatures, the right lighting (UV), and the right food.

For temps, the hot side should be around 110F for babies and the cool side 85F. Temps should be measured with a digital probe thermometer or temp gun. The ReptiSun 10.0 tube is the best UV on the market for bearded dragons. A salad (mixture of veggies and greens) should be offered daily. Proteins should be offered 2-3 times per day for babies. Proteins should be crickets, roaches and/or phoenix worms (to name a few).

All of these elements are important for your beardie to thrive. Each plays a significant role in his health and digestive process.

Hope this helps.
