So I've been away for a few days and my dad has been taking care of Sherlock, this morning I got a text that says "Hi, sherlock seems depressed, I cuddled with him last night" (enjoy the image of a grown man snuggling a lizard) I've been taking care of Sherlock the same way sense Febuary and I'm positive my dad is doing a great job. Why would he be depressed?

Maybe your dad is the one that is depressed because you're gone and he's blaming it on the dragon :)

There's debate as to whether they have human emotions like love or depression. That maybe we are projecting those emotions on to them because that's what we think they are feeling. I like to think they might feel something. I went away for a few days and when I came home Dexter perked her head right up and watched me from her tank until I could put my things down and scoop her up, she seemed so happy to see me.
