i have a femal and male beardie in the same enclosure. they have been together since i have had them. they are both about 6-7 months old. MY male , Rue, started bobbing his head and puffing his neck really big. My mom tried holding him but he hissed. i love my baby rue. Plus his beard is blackening. Help!

Sounds like he's just trying to establish dominance. I typically dont recommend keeping 2 beardies together - one will usually dominate the other - get the best and most food, best and most heat, etc. a male will mate with a female until she is exhausted. are you lookin for babies?

Yep I agree with Canicke he is establishing dominance, it's time to separate them as they are best alone..the black beard is normal for a male wanting to show off to the female.. For the health of your female they need to be apart.
