You know I'm not sure I think they can but hopefully someone else will chime in on this.

I trawled through various forums to find out, but you never know the validity of that kind of info. From what I read though, it seems they are ok to feed, but pretty high in phosphorous, so should go in the 'feed occasionally' bracket. A good source of hydration, but nutritionally not as good as the beans themselves. In other words....meh!
