How horrible for you both, glad to hear that things are on the mend and soon they will all be gone.

Thanks for your concern and well i am struggling slightly. I took out his carpet binned it replaced for paper towels. Took the little guy and his food and water dishes out. Nuked his viv with callingtons. However it has been about 5-6 days since I did this and have noticed some mites still on him :/

It won't be a one and done treatment, you'll have to repeat it every couple days until the mites are gone. And then continue treating for a little while, even when you no longer see mites, to ensure that they are irradicated and won't make a come back.

Thanks well I will do again in a couple of days I blitzed it completely last night hoovered all corners and wiped all corners then nuked with callingtons. And gave him a good soak checked him this morning the ones on him seemed to be clearing up.

Yep just keep doing what your doing until he has none for a while after you see the last of them..
