I have a frill canary and she loves bathing. As soon as I place a bathing bowl with water into her cage she immediately flocks to it, and.........she baths:)
thanks.
What I was trying to say was do you bathe dragons just to clean them or do they bathe for enjoyment? thanks much.

Ah, understood. From my experiences beardies don't really like getting baths. Most tolerate it, but it's not something they LOVE to do.

Bathing your bearded dragon is important for its cleanliness as well as keeping their skin hydrated. Bathing also helps with other issues your pet may experience, such as constipation, fecal impaction, and shedding. Pour the warm water over them not there face they like that

hello, how often should you bathe a dragon? Once a day?once a week? And I’m guessing not to use some sort of soap?
thanks.
Weekly for babies as they're shedding constantly. Adults you can go every couple weeks. No soaps, shampoos or anything. Just warn water.

Please excuse the newbieness. Do dragons shed anything like snakes?
Similar, but not the same. I know, strange answer. What I mean by that is snakes will shed their whole body at one time. Bearded dragons seem to do theirs in sections. Usually their legs will go first, then their head, then tail and then body. But no they dont shed their whole body at once like a snake.
