Basking light

Hello, I am in the process of making my viv and what is a good basking light for a temp between 105 and 110. I see people using a blue light?

How large is your viv?

A blue light is not necessary. You can use a standard household bulb to obtain the proper heat.

I agree, not colored light is needed. Just use regular clear household bulbs from Lowes or HomeDepot. You may need to get a couple wattages to get the temps right, but it's WAY cheaper so no worries. This is the one I get
