Hi our 3 1/2 month old baby Beardie stopped eating once again. She did this when she shed the last time. I just worry because she is very tiny only about 15 grams at 3 1/2 months old. She never had a good appetite since we got her. With Sadie’s help I got her lighting and temperatures perfect. Our Beardie did get a little better appetite which consists of 3-4 dubias a day and she was more active. However now she stopped eating once again. I believe it’s either from her getting ready to shed again or dehydration. She also was checked for parasites and test results were Negative. Her poop is normal also.
Should I assist feed her again with a syringe of Repashy slurrie? I’m worried if I leave her without eating for several days she will get very weak. I’m also syringing her water throughout the day.
Temperatures and light fixtures are ideal since we changed them the last time.

any sugesstions?
Thanks so much

Oh dear something else is going on -- this is not good she should be eating way more than she is -- please post a pic of the tank and her especially --- I want to look at her and then I may end up getting some more help on this -- the shed will slow the appetite down or can -- post a pic of the poop it should look like this dark formed and moist and the urate white formed and moist -- you dont need to keep feeding the water -- I will look at the lighting as well and see if something is off to be causing this

Hi Sadie, yes for sure something is not right with our little baby.
I just checked all temps again and I am posting a bunch of pictures for you to look at. Our bear die, Charmie, definitely has very little appetite and is not very active at all.
I did notice her urate is very chalky. I took some pictures to show you.
I do sprinkle calcium powder everyday on her Dubias. I did also notice her eyes are a little sunken . I do catch her in her water bowl drinking at times. She goes I. There herself and puts her head under slightly and drinks.
her temperature readings are
Basking 109
Cool side 82
8 inches from UVB

Exo Terra 75w intense basking bulb
Reptisun 10.0 UVB

thanks again
Vanessa

UVB is a T8
Ok the lighting is all good --- how long did she quit eating when she shedded the last time? And shes not active meaning shes not moving at all or just laying around and will open her eyes when you come around? Do you have a reptile vet? I mean a actual reptile vet not a regular vet that sees dragons but some one whos experienced?
Here is a website to find one in your area if you need to type in a bigger cities zip code
www.arav.org if she does not start eating even a little in the next day or so get her in I am not sure why she would stop eating again --- every thing is good on your end she should be eating like a little monster --
her eyes are a little sunken this could be either kidneys or liver ----her poop does not show dehydration

She shed the last time on Oct 18th. She did not eat with that shed and that’s why I felt she was starting to shed again, Her coloring and skin dryness tells me she may shed again. But she is acting so ill just sleeping with no appetite at all. Her activity level is minimal just coming off basking area and moving to other side of the tank and sleeping there. She has never been a good eater and also has not grown much at all in the last 2 1/2 months since we have had her. I will try to get a reptile vet appointment for her . It may be a kidney or liver problem right from the start since she never ate well.
Thank you for all the help.

Yes get her in tell them you want to know if it's her kidneys or liver- I am not sure how they test but NO ENEMAS!!! You can try and get a fecal - the last urate was chalky ? Try and get some water in her- eye dropper or dropping water on her nose- syringe feed VERY SLOW so she does not aspirate
