I have ordered a few calci worms (Phoenix worms I think they`re called across the pond) for Wasim.

Just wanted to know can they be used as a staple diet or just a treat.

Do I need to gut load and are they pretty easy to store.

Hope some one can offer advice.

From what I've heard they are a good feeder but small & pricey. Ive never used them, sorry I couldn't b more helpful.

I'd also like to know about the phoenix worms as staple and are they easy to colonize?

personally if you are going to do phoenix worms it would be better to do it to profit off of. They are pretty expensive and most people don't buy them they are almost as rare meeting people that feed them to their herps as it would be to meet someone who feeds silkworms

Pheonix, calci, and repti worms are all the same critter. Black soldier fly maggots. Not impossible to raise yourself, but it isnt what I would call easy either.
