Anyone have a Fancy bearded dragon?

Recently brought home a fancy bearded dragon, I was told he’ll be orange when he’s older but I don’t see any hints of red or orange, he looks exactly like the normal non-fancy dragon babies that were at the store. I know he’ll change colors when he sheds but I’m worried he won’t be orange like i’d hope. Anyone have a fancy beardie? Hoping someone could shed some light on my dilemma (see what I did there

“fancy” bearded dragons don’t exist, it means hes a type of morph. they do the same thing with their ball pythons, any time theres a morph they just call it “fancy” as far as everything else im not sure

You have a very sweet looking beardie there!
I am not sure about the color thing either but I would be anxious to learn too!
When I had mantids the color always was more prominent after each molt (shed). Perhaps tbat is the same with beardies.... Idk!

thank you. she was a bit skittish as a baby but now she just walks all over me. lol
she is a spoiled little dragon princess.

My little guy, Cactus is a fancy and orange mix, and he was bright when I first got him, which was when he was 1 month old, and he's getting a little bit more bright, so I wouldn't worry so much unless she's not changing for a long time.
