That's what I thought. I don't want to open a can of worms here...no pun intended :), but mealworms are not recommended for bearded dragons, especially one that small. Their outer coat is tough for the beardie to breakdown and digest. It can cause all sorts of issues, the main one - impaction.

I would stick with crickets for a dragon that small. As a general rule, all food for beardies less than 1 year old should be no larger than the space between their eyes. That includes proteins and salad (mustard greens, collard greens, carrot tops, squash, berries, peppers, snow peas, hibiscus, etc).

I like to stay on the side of caution and avoid them altogether.
