Stubbs came to me a year ago, three years old and frail as could be. He could barely move his body, he shook when he tried from muscle fatigue, and he required a lot of assistance. He was diagnosed with MBD.
We celebrated his GotchaDay today. He was moving around, looking around, holding his head up, and acting like a mostly normal beardie.
When you are the primary caretaker of an animal, its hard to see progress long term. You think the animal isn't getting any better, that they won't get better.
But... when you take a step back and look at a picture from a year ago, you see just how much progress they have made.
Here's Stubbs, a year apart.
Who else has seen their animal make strides in the last year?
